In Jocotán, located in the region of Chiquimula in Guatemala, we work with a group of women who hand weave with tule fiber. Tule is a brush fiber that is quite strong and creates basketry and rugs that are sturdy.

Led by a well-known school teacher in the area, despite being relatively new, the group has already grown to include 35 women artisans.
