Handwoven by flying shuttle loom weavers in Mitla, Mexico

Outside of Oaxaca City, past vast swaths of desert and agave fields, is the family workshop where many of our cotton throws, tea towels, scarves, and runners are woven. We've been working with Arturo here since before we really knew what MINNA was going to be. The weavers here specialize in using flying shuttle pedal looms, allowing the loom widths to be larger than some of the other weavers we work with because the shuttle can go further, faster, and with less effort.
