Building Your Tabletop Collection

Here at MINNA, we love a well-set table. The tabletop is a quick and low-commitment place to really change up the feel of your home. Plus, we love how a table setting can encourage more intentional mealtimes, whether we're eating alone or hosting. From tablecloths to runners, placemats to napkins, our retail manager Cate shows us how to build a beautiful table linen collection that can easily be rotated when we want to mix it up.

Tablecloths

Let’s start with the base of the tabletop, the tablecloth. This is the piece that will likely remain the most stagnant part of your collection, so it’s important to choose something you really love that won’t feel stale too quickly. By keeping a neutral but still functional base, there’s more room to experiment with fun napkins, placemats, and runners.

The Meridian Tablecloth in Robin

Our Meridian Tablecloths in Robin + Heron always feel fresh on the tabletop because of the contrasting stripes on either side. Albers Runner Oak

For a more neutral, fall or winter style, the Albers runner in Oak is a perfect layering piece. The warm brown and cream tones are perfectly balanced out by the stripe of sky blue that runs down the middle.
